Nick's first
love was called Leanne. They were only young, 16, and thought they were in
love. When both families disapproved of their child's chosen partner they
tried to keep the two apart, (the Plaits and the Battersbys had never seen
eye to eye) they would have none of it and ran away to Scotland to be
married. Then, some time into the marriage Leanne became pregnant, Nick
thought he was too young to become a father and forced his wife to
have an abortion. This caused the two to get a divorce:
A few years after Nick moved to Canada he met and fell in love with Rebecca. They moved in together. He came back home to visit family and friends. That's where he met and fell in love Maria:
They got together, he never told Rebecca about Maria or Maria about Rebecca:
She moved to Canada with him leaving everything behind, only to find Rebecca there, so she returned. Nick shortly followed her realizing she was the one he wanted not Rebecca. When she wouldn't have him back he started dating his younger sisters best friend Candice:
This started the first of the two love triangles involving Nick Tilsly. Maria got jealous and started dating someone else to make him jealous. This worked because a few months later, just after Candice had bought Nick a very expensive watch for his birthday, he called it off with her cos he realised he secretly, deep down was still in love with Maria. Candice saw them together in the local pub just after this had happened. She had a go at Nick, Maria told her to grow up. This turned into a fight over him and Maria won. A few months later he became good friends with his sister's boyfriend Todd. Todd for some reason he couldn't think of, fell in love with Nick. One night Sarah went out with her mates and left Todd and Nick babysitting Bethany. That's when it happened, Nick received his first kiss from a male and he became involved in the second love triangle. This caused a lot of trouble between Sarah, Todd and nick. Nick wouldn't talk to Todd, Sarah wouldn't talk to any of them for a while. Here are some pictures of the incident:
