| 1997-1999:
Adam was introduced to the Street as Nick Tilsly.
1999-2000: He left Coronation street to go on with a pop career, his first single got to number 5 in the UK charts. 2001-2002: Adam played the lead role in the hit musical "RENT." He appeared in the daytime drama Doctors, which is now classed as a soap opera. He shot a film called Emergency Exit. He came back in coronation Street for a shot while were Nick and Maria fell in love. April/May 2003: Adam played a lead role in Office Games alongside Charlie Brookes. 2004: Adam is back in Coronation Street and it looks like he's here to stay, or is he?
